During our trip to
Yosemite National Park last month I was terrified at the idea of having a close encounter with bears. I purchased a scentless lotion, refused to wash my hair, kept my lip balm in the bear-proof food locker and jumped out of my sleeping bag at the sound of any rustle in the middle of the night.
Strangely enough, as we neared the end of our camping trip, I started hoping to see a bear from afar. In the end, and much to my dismay, we did not see a single bear. We did, however, see the beautiful waterfalls, granite cliffs and giant sequoia trees.
Here are some of the pictures that I took during our trip to Yosemite.
